More companies than ever before now rely on social media DMs as their main channel for talking with customers. Because of that, they need to bring on additional online live chat workers who can send and reply to those messages. What you will be doing: You will sign in to the company’s Facebook and Instagram accounts and answer the questions customers send in. Some messages come from current buyers who need help with a purchase, while others come from people who are considering buying and have sales questions. You will be given training so you know how to handle every kind of question.
Contract length: There is no fixed term
Rate: $35 an hour
Skills/background needed: You will need a device that can access social media and website chat (phone, tablet or laptop). You should be comfortable working on your own, able to follow the steps and instructions you are given closely, have at least 5 hours available each week, and keep a dependable internet connection.
Hours per week: 5 to 40 hours weekly
Location: Remote, working online (United States preferred).
