Live chat work means speaking with a company’s customers through website chat and replying to product questions. The company gives you the most common questions and answers, so you are never left guessing what to say.
It may sound straightforward, and it is, yet these roles matter a great deal to businesses. They currently cannot find enough people to fill every opening, so pay begins at $25 per hour and can rise quickly as you gain experience.
What you will be doing: You will work as a live chat assistant in a customer support position. When your shift begins — you select your own schedule — you sign in to the company’s website and begin answering incoming messages from customer questions. At the end of the shift, you sign out and receive daily payment.
Contract length: There is no fixed term
Rate: $35 per hour
Skills/background needed: You need a device that can use social media and website chat features (phone, tablet, or laptop). You should be able to work on your own, follow provided steps and instructions closely, have at least 5 hours available each week, and maintain a reliable internet connection.
Hours per week: 5 to 40 hours each week
Location: Online remote work (United States is preferred).
