We are growing our team and looking for capable problem solvers to join us as an Online Chat Specialist (Entry Level). The right person will be friendly, helpful, and comfortable speaking with website visitors through online chat, answering their questions as they browse. You will give customers quick, accurate, and useful assistance.
What you will be doing: As a live chat customer support agent, you will handle incoming customer questions through live chat on business websites and social media accounts. These may be support requests from existing customers or sales questions from potential new customers.
Contract length: No fixed term
Rate: $35 per hour
Skills/background needed: You will need a phone, tablet, or laptop that can access social media and website chat functions. You should be able to work independently, follow provided steps and instructions closely, have at least 10 hours of availability each week, and keep a reliable internet connection.
Hours per week: 10 + hours a week
Location: Remote work online (United States preferred).
